Crystals for Protection

Protection is the single most common reason people walk into our stores. Something feels off at home, a workplace is draining, a person is taking more than they give — and they want something solid in their pocket.

This collection gathers the stones traditionally used for that: black tourmaline, obsidian, shungite, hematite, smoky quartz, black kyanite and labradorite. Most are under $10, which is deliberate — protection shouldn't be the expensive shelf.

Where to start: black tourmaline is the workhorse and what we hand people most often. Obsidian is more confronting. Shungite is the one people buy for electronics and screens. Hematite is grounding and heavy in the hand, which is half of why it works.

How people actually use them: one in a pocket, one by the front door, one at the desk. If you're buying for a specific situation, buy two of the same stone — one to carry and one to leave where the problem is.

Whether the stone is doing something or the intention is, the effect of deciding to protect yourself is not nothing.
