Clear Quartz is known by many as The Master Healer or The Master Crystal because he is a component of so many other crystals and because his energy will amplify the energy of any other stone he assists you with.  He will also amplify your thoughts, intentions and prayers.  His clarity will aide you in seeing clearly and  also provide a clear connection to spirit.  He is a stone of the crown chakra in the ethereal body and he also connects to the chakras that are above the crown, the soul star and the stellar gateway.  He can help you to protect your home and clear negativity from your life as well as amplify love and remind you to live in gratitude.  His clarity is used to keep Tarot and Oracle decks clear of others’ energy.  He can hold energy so he does need to be cleansed with beloved Sage or Moonlight - though he is one of the few crystals that loves to spend a day in the sun!

Clear Quartz Crystals are six sided with six sided points and are usually dense and milk colored near their base growing into clear points when pure.  This variety of Quartz is what is called Macrocrystalline - where the crystals or the structure of the crystals is visible to the naked eye.  There are also many stones that contain microcrystalline quartz - crystals only visible by microscope, yes still a variety of quartz.
