About the Stones

Clear Quartz. Clear Quartz crystals are six-sided with six-sided points, usually dense and milk-colored near the base, growing clear toward the point when pure. It is what geologists call macrocrystalline — the crystal structure is visible to the naked eye.

Agate. Agate is the banded variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline quartz. It is often found growing around geodes, between the outer wall and the inner crystals, which is where its signature banding comes from.

Wearing & Care

Copper darkens naturally as it is worn — a polishing cloth brings the shine back, or let it take on its patina. Put the pendant on last, after perfume and lotion, and take it off for showers, swimming and sleep. Clear Quartz: Clear Quartz can hold energy, so it does need to be cleansed — with sage or moonlight. It is one of the few crystals that loves to spend a day in the sun.
