Amethyst forms in geodes. Sometimes a geode is crushed by the pressure of the earth around it — when that happens Chevron Amethyst is formed, as the points of the crystals meld together into a chevron-patterned mineral. Chevron Amethyst, with the history of its creation under pressure from the Mother, is a stone to bring out one's regal self. It is a form of Amethyst that adds the energy of leadership and self-control — an energy that helps one to focus on the greatest good of all.

It has all of the energy of Amethyst with a supercharge from the milky quartz chevron pattern that is natural within it.
