How to Work With It
This is cut root and bark carry the slow, lasting work: a jar, a bag, a bowl by the door, or a pinch on charcoal. A line at the threshold or the windowsill; a pinch in a protection jar with salt; a sachet in the car or the bag; sprinkled around the edge of a ritual circle. A pinch on the altar with a white or green candle; a sachet for the nightstand; an offering in the garden. Keep it in a jar out of the sun; a pinch is enough for most work.
