Ochosi Oil is a Sun's Eye Deity oil blended to honor Ochosi, the hunter who tracks for spiritual growth — cascara sagrada in the bottle, spicy and floral top notes over a base of musk. A ½ fl oz (15 ml) glass bottle, made in small batches by Sun's Eye and carried in all three Sacred Crystals shops and here.

How to Use It

Dress an altar candle, or anoint an offering, when you call on the deity. A few drops go a long way. Dress a candle before you light it, run it through an oil warmer or diffuser, or put a drop on a cotton ball tucked into a drawer or your car. It wears well in an aromatherapy locket. For skin, dilute it in a carrier oil such as jojoba or grapeseed and test a small patch first. Shake a few drops into distilled water for a room or linen spray.

In Tradition: Ochosi

Ochosi is the orisha of the hunt in the Yoruba and Lucumí traditions — the tracker whose arrow does not miss, and the one who sees through to the truth of a matter, which is why he is also called on for justice. Call on him for focus, direction and finding what you are truly seeking.
