Root Chakra Oil is a Sun's Eye Chakra oil for the Root Chakra — clove bud and hematite chips in the bottle, smoky and earthy top notes over a base of cedar, blended to promote grounding and tribal instincts. How to Use It

A diluted drop over the chakra point, or on a candle of the chakra's color, is the classic use. A few drops go a long way. Dress a candle before you light it, run it through an oil warmer or diffuser, or put a drop on a cotton ball tucked into a drawer or your car. It wears well in an aromatherapy locket. For skin, dilute it in a carrier oil such as jojoba or grapeseed and test a small patch first. Shake a few drops into distilled water for a room or linen spray.

The Root Chakra

The Root sits at the base of the spine and is the seat of safety, belonging and the body's plain instinct to survive and stand its ground. When it is steady we feel at home in ourselves — grounded, provided for, unhurried. Root work is about the feet on the floor: the tribe, the home, the next meal, the sense that you are held by the earth.
